The last great cavalry campaign...
After the failure of the Gallipoli invasion and the Ottoman counterstrokes aimed at the Seuz canal, the British chased the retreating Ottomans across the Sinai Peninsula. Finally breaking the Ottoman's Gaza line in the famous Beersheba battle allowed the British into southern Palestine.
Now it is September 1918 and General Edmund Allenby is poised on the plain of Meggido to unleash the last great cavalry campaign in history, intending to bring the Ottoman Empire to its knees.
This game focuses on the heavy fighting in northern Palestine (now Israel) without distracting players with relatively minor efforts such as Lawrence of Arabia's campaign. Several historical "what ifs" have been included to tip the balance of this otherwise lopsided situation towards the Ottomans.
